I haven’t been on here in months! I just wanted to update anyone who was wondering: I will be finishing up my freshman year of college this April! I’ve been so successful & done amazingly: I kept up a 4.0 my first semester (& hopefully will keep it up this semester as well!), have been upholding all requirements for my full scholarship, am signing a lease for an off-campus apartment next year with my friend, was active in the College Democrats last semester (co-chaired the LGBT Caucus), am active in the student government for housing, mentor a middle school student once a week, got accepted to the Honors Program, do various volunteer activities, & tomorrow I have an interview to be a peer mentor for the scholarship I’m receiving! I know I’ll get it. :) I currently am taking 16 credits right now and have low to high A’s in all of my courses. This summer I’m going to do an internship where I read to the blind over a radio station. Next year I hope to be active in student government and work for the student newspaper! College is amazing! Life is happening! I’m surrounded by love and positivity and great people at every turn. I’m learning how valuable I am as a person and am starting to see worth in myself. I’ve never seen worth in myself before, it’s so lovely. If you have any semblance of an opportunity, go to college! It will completely change & transform your life! 💙
I just came back on here after months of not being on to let everyone know that if you ever call me a b*tch or let somebody you know call me a b*tch and don’t do anything to stop that misogynistic bullshit from happening then there is a 100% chance I will find out and never forgive you for that. 😊 Really love being called slurs.
